The grill vent is only held in place by two screws. Super simple fix. Remove the two screws and the old grill vent, position the new vent and put the two screws back in. Replacing the cord required that cabinet to be removed. Lots of screws on the back, top and bottom. Once the screws were removed, the cabinet pulled back. The power cord connections were then clearly visible. Undid the two wire connectors and unscrewed the ground wire from the body to remove the old power cable. Installed the new power cable, slide the cabinet into place, put the screws back in, Replacing both the grill vent and power cable took about 40 minutes.

We ordered the new part, removed it from the packaging, and screwed it right on. Easy peasy!

Replacement was simple, just removed damaged grill vent and replaced it with the new one. Only has five screws, so it took under five minutes!

Once I received the replacement part the repairs were really simple. Since I had to remove the broken grill vent to replace it, while I had it off I simply removed the old charcoal filter and slipped in the new charcoal filter into place, than installed the new grill vent, reusing the 2 screws and screw clips from the broken grill vent and screwing it securely into place.. The old grease filter is accessible from the bottom of the microwave hood combination that I have. To replace it, you just slip the old filter out and slip the new filter into place. To replace the exterior light bulb, you have to open the glass panel, by removing one screw to get to the light bulb. After removing the burned out bulb, replacing it with the new bulb, you just replace the glass panel, screwing it securely back into place. The only tool I needed, had been a screw driver.
