This is an important repair, though it would have been easier to leave as it was. The control or selection panel is right on the front and is stressed each time you open it. If you feel the front panel is flexing more than it should, check this piece for broken tabs and replace if gone. Remove the 4 top star-head screws on the back side of door and loosen the next 2 lower screws on both sides of door about half way (loosening lower screws allows for easier access when installing new control panel) 2.) Disconnect control panel wires 3.) Replace handle 4.) Reconnect control panel wires 5.) Install control panel 6.) Tighten all 8 screws 7.)
