Pedro L Cliffside Park , NJ February 23, 2016 Plastic piece inside of the handle broke In my case the Plastic piece inside of handle that triggers the latch to open broke off. Since the whole handle mechanism needs to be removed, taken apart, reassembled and place back- I suggest to Take pictures of handle mechanism before is removed to ensure you're re-assembling it properly prior to re-inserting it back in its place.
