Whirlpool WPD7813010 Ice Maker Wiring Harness OEM Part

I watched the video on how to replace the ice maker and the replaced it with zero problems. Excellent help in trouble shooting problem and installation video further assisted in ease of installation.

I replaced the ice maker and valve first but it turned out to be the wire harness. The replacement harness was better than the original which had a tight fit with the replacement ice maker. The new harness installed in minutes and solved the problem. I would have benefitted from using a volt meter originally to diagnose the problem earlier though. Thanks for having the product in stock with prompt shipping!

Replaced the icemaker unit with a new unit. from ApplianceParts Pros. The replacement unit came with no cover or wiring harness with the expectation that the these items can be transferred from the old unit. The old unit's cover, wiring harness and shutoff arm could not be transferred. My Amana refrigerator is over 25 years old and the those items have been changed in the new unit. The other problem was the refrigerator did not have a model number plaque anywhere, therefore I had to do a search for the right parts to complete the repair. After two additional orders, I finally got the right parts and the ice maker is again producing ice "quietly".

My old ice maker died and I threw the whole thing out without holding onto the Harness-Wire apparatus. Got a new one from AppliancePartPros along with a new ice maker from another site and I was up and working in minutes..
