James G Moyock , NC September 11, 2015 Appliance: Frigidaire Freezer LFFH21F7HWJ My frigidare would not go below 32 degrees As usual I contacted my favorite folks which was the Appliance Parts pros. I commenced to explaining to them my problem. Now let me explain here right here and now, I am not a technician in repair of freezers. So there. I do have a basic knowledge and that basically is all it took.So after speaking with a csr I was on the right road on repair of my unit. We spoke together I explained to the csr what the problem was. Then we put together a plan and the parts were ordered. What makes working with the Parts Pro so unique is this fact : They are patient and will do whatever it takes to get your unit back on the line and running. So there you have it . Piece of cake. In my case this unit would not go above 32 degrees. So parts pro explained to me that most likely it was the thermostat. Here again I must explain that if this was not the problem the parts pro csr told me I could repackage the part and send it back in and we would regroup and try again. So I ordered the part. It arrived and to work I went. Went on the website followed the easy customer friendly instructions. Magic! After installing the part I waited for approxiamately an hour and the unit was fixed. Now I am convinced if these folks can do this for me and I can fix this.So Can You. Give them a call now. Right now. Thomas W Bastrop , TX July 31, 2015 Appliance: Model 106.595999901 Defrost cycle not working The unit is 15 years old. Instead of just replacing the Adaptive Defrost Control Board , I opted to replace all parts related to include the Heating Element, Defrost Thermostat, and the Evaporator Fan Motor. I feel it was worth the extra money and piece of mind not to worry about what would fail next. In the long run it is was cheaper to replace those parts than replace all the food lost after it failed while we were on vacation! This company is just awesome! Great customer support and the standard shipping was delivered to my door in less than 24 hours of being placed! Marc A Santa Cruz , CA November 11, 2018 Ice maker quit and frig was warmer then usual I noticed Ice maker Quit for the third time in 15 years so I decided to buy another Ice maker, I installed it and NO ice still?? Well I went after the other problem thinking if it does not get cold enough maybe ice maker won’t work. I ordered Defrost Switch, Heater and Evaporator Fan just to be safe. I replaced all three, the fan was noisy, the heater OHM’d ok but I replaced it as did the defrost switch, I put it back together, the Freezer got to 0 degrees and the frig got to 38 degrees so I figured it will make ice! Well no Ice??? I said all that’s left is the Optics Boards and the inlet valve both of which I replaced in the past. Well I replaced both of those and still NO Ice??? By this time I’m into it for near $700.00 and said there is NOTHING left to replace??? Well I called the store I got the ice maker from and told them can I exchange it? (APED) and they said yes they will exchange it for another new one. I was there and back in NO time, installed the newest ice maker and it Cycled and 35 minutes later I had ice finally. So, sometimes you can get a BAD NEW Part, though rare it happens. I needed the defrost switch, evaporator fan and Ice Maker. I did not need the inlet valves, heater and optics boards.
