TOOK OUT DRAWERS AND BACK PANEL. USED A HAIR DRYER TO DEFROST COILS THEN PUT IN A NEW HEATER, DEFROST & DEFROST THERMOSTAT. I FIGURED THEY WORK TOGETHER AND HAD THE SAME WEAR PLUS WAS EASIER TO DO AT ONE TIME. Marlene D Galt , CA May 22, 2014 Ice was building up on everything in the freezer The freezer baskets, door and back inside panel were removed. The Heater, Defrost unit was checked for power, it had no power in the unit. We ordered a new unit on line on Monday night, was shipped on Tue and we received the new unit on Wed!
