Andrew Z Saint Louis , MO March 28, 2023 Appliance: Whirlpool Refrigerator WRS322FDAB01 The refrigerator door would not close properly. The plastic cam the bottom hinge had ground down over time and the door would have to be pushed shut. The cam was not automatically closing the door when the door was swung closed. I bought the new hinge pieces from AppliancePartsPros.com by using the model number found on the refrigerator tag. The schematic diagram helped me identify what to order. The parts arrived in 2 days. I removed 2 screws from the top hinge and lifted the door off. I removed 2 screws from the bottom hinge. I removed the plastic cam out ot the door and replaced it with Refrigerator Door Upper Closure CAM. I then replaced the the Lower Refrigerator Door Hinge and Closure Cam. Both pieces were exact fits. I was able to leave the original bracket in place. It was not need damaged. I remounted the door. I adjusted the cam screw on the hinge to level the door height with the freezer door. It works like new. The cam holds the door open and closes it completely when using the door. Read More...
