Phil H Kirkland , WA February 07, 2016 Broken spring on oven door The replacement hinge unit arrived in just two days. The JennAire (Maytag) oven door is fairly typical in that it easily lifts off of the hinge bars. Once the door is off then removing two screws is all that's required to remove the hinge unit from the oven. The new hinge slides up into place and while you hold it up inside of its location putting the old screws back in is very easy. Had to order whole hinge with spring. Replaced hinge assembly. Assembly/installation requires tapping of screw hole in new assembly which should be sent with new self tapping replacement screws and instructions for installation. Great 3-day delivery.
