Phil H Kirkland , WA February 07, 2016 Broken spring on oven door The replacement hinge unit arrived in just two days. The JennAire (Maytag) oven door is fairly typical in that it easily lifts off of the hinge bars. Once the door is off then removing two screws is all that's required to remove the hinge unit from the oven. The new hinge slides up into place and while you hold it up inside of its location putting the old screws back in is very easy. The hinge only had two screws so that was easy. I had to take two screws off the front to lift the glass top off. Flipped it over and easily replaced the old element with a new one. Read More...
