Evgueni P San Mateo , CA February 08, 2015 Appliance: Model KITCHENAID KUDP02FRSS2 Dishwasher stopped draining water the pump was running (i could hear the noise) but water would not go away I've opened sump housing to check for clogging but it was clean. When I removed check valve to inspect it I've found out that the round part of the valve was missing so I figured it might've blocked the water exit at drain hose or something like that. So I pulled the dishwasher out to get a full access to drain hose connector and the pump. Upon disconnecting the drain and checking its connector I indeed found the round piece totally blocking the hose and acting as a seal. I removed the piece with pliers and installed replacement check valve. Since I've ordered a newer and better pump I also decided to replace it. Now my dishwasher works like a brand new. James M Barre , MA November 07, 2016 Appliance: KitchenAid Undercounter Dishwasher KUDP02CRBL3 Dishwashwer was only partially draining I figured out that it was probably a plugged pump hose, since the pump would run, it somtimes it drained and sometimes it didn't. Your video helped with how to take the dishwasher out and replace the hose. I replaced the hose and everything is now working fine. It turned out to be a broken check valve in the old hose that caused the problem. It took 90 mins to do the repair. Gregg M Menifee , CA November 05, 2018 Appliance: Model 66513269K114 Dishwasher was leaking from beneath the diverter motor Check the hose clamps before ordering the sump! I called to talk to a pro and they suggested buying the sump as well as the diverter motor, which I did. While removing the motor from the old sump, I had to destroy the old hose clamps that were on the small hose connecting the sump and motor. The clamps that were on my Kenmore were compression clamps, not the type with a screw. I checked Lowes, Home Depot and a local hardware store and nobody carries a large enough clamp with that small of a width. So, I had to stop in the middle of fixing my dishwasher to order the right clamps (part # AP5971447). I haven't been able to finish yet because I'm still waiting for the clamps to arrive, but I was able to get the new sump installed without any problems. The how-to videos are excellent. Cesar G Brandon , MS August 23, 2020 Dishwasher was not draining.. At first I thought it was a clogged line but then I realized I did not hear the pump running when I selected the ‘drain’ option. Replacing the pump was very easy. I spent more time trying to put the dishwasher back in under the counter and correcting the insulation Than it took to replace the pump. Overall it took about an hour and about 15 minutes to replace the pump.
