William S Richmond , VA December 02, 2014 Appliance: Maytag Washer- Horizontal Axis MAH5500BWW Water leaking from beneath washing machine during fill cycle Removed access panel in rear of machine and observed while in operation. identified source of leak as failed hose connecting detergent dispenser to drum. found part on-line and ordered on the Wednesday afternoon before Thanksgiving. Part was delivered to my front door by 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. By noon had new hose on machine washing a load of laundry. Only way it could have been easier is for someone else to have installed while I watched.
