Jacqueline B Winter Springs , FL March 03, 2024 The ice maker was dripping in the front creating icicles as well as filter housing not accepting filter. I ordered the parts, removed the old icemaker, followed the video exactly, and put the new one in. So easy! Video was spot one. I am a 63 year old woman and had no trouble. Anyone can do this, don't pay for a repair. The filter housing was harder, you need to use a wrench to push the grip on the old filter housing to get the water lines to release. Once they do, it was not that hard after that. The video does not indicate that, he seemed to just be able to pull them out easily. Other than that, is was pretty straighforward. Read More... Gary A Honolulu , HI June 09, 2023 Appliance: Whirlpool Refrigerator WRS342FIAM02 Water flowed with old filter. I tried multiple replacement filters and water wouldn't flow put old filter back in and water flowed again. I replaced the water filter housing assembly. It was simple to do since your site provided the how-to video. The only snag I ran into was that I had a hard time re-positioning the foam brace under the filter. The space is tight. Would have been easier if I had smaller hands. The whole process took about 10 minutes. Would have been faster but that foam piece took a while. Side note, my fridge didn't have the retaining clips shown in your video. Now my water/ice dispenser works as it should again. I am so glad I was able to avoid having to call in an appliance repair person. Thank you very much! Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Socket Set
