Aaron H Saint James , MO March 16, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool Undercounter Dishwasher GU2400XTPB0 Would not clean dishes My dishwasher quit cleaning dishes and lost all pressure. The food screen would keep clogging up and I would have to take it out and clean it by hand. After putting a new impeller in, the "gears" on the impeller connected with the screen blades, the old impeller the "gears" were stripped off. And the new impeller comes with new seals, after taking old one out I noticed it wasn't long before my old seals would have started leaking. Very simple repair if you watch the great video that aplinacepartspros.com has next to the part. The longest part of the job is pulling the dishwasher out and turning it upside down. Nathan S Salt Lake City , UT January 19, 2015 Appliance: KitchenAid Undercounter Dishwasher KUDU02FRSS1 Water leaking from the area proximate to the motor I reviewed the schematic and saw the Volute Seal, and Impeller Seal were the two that were closest my source of water. After watching the video about changing the Impeller/seal I removed the motor, impeller, and volute; I found that the impeller seal was the faulty one in my case. Since I'd ordered the volute and impeller seal kits (as I wasn't sure which it was) I installed both while I had it apart. Runs great, no water - simple to do. The seal changes took about 20 minutes. The only real time spent was removing and re-installing the dishwasher from the cabinet. Linda M Northglenn , CO April 01, 2015 Dishwasher wasn't washing dishes After disassembling the dishwasher, we noticed that the food chopper had snapped off the impeller. We were worried that a tiny, broken plastic piece was going to cause us to buy a whole new dishwasher. After we received the part, we followed the directions in the instructional video and were able to fix it ourselves! So impressed with the videos on this site and all the information that makes it so easy to fix things yourself. A $20 part, a little elbow grease, and our dishwasher is running perfectly now!
