Description
This replacement impeller fits inside the pump to move water through the appliance's system. A worn or broken impeller can lead to weak circulation, poor cleaning results, or a motor that hums without moving water. What it does:
- Mounts on the pump shaft to push water and create flow/pressure
- Helps deliver spray action and/or discharge flow for proper cycle operation
- Typical symptoms include poor wash performance, little/no water movement, or unusual grinding/rattling from the pump area

- Disconnect power and shut off water before servicing
- Access the pump assembly; remove lower panels or the sump as needed
- Clear debris, then install the impeller in the correct orientation, keeping any spacers in order
- Reassemble, restore power/water, and check for leaks and proper operation
