I already had an idea of what needed to be fixed when my friend called and explained her situation. Considering I'm not a repair person, I thought of the Appliance Pros online. After having an online chat with one of their repair reps, I was able to order the correct part. The repair was simple, just a little time consuming. My friend insisted on helping. 8-/ Eventually the washer was back together. No extra parts either, woo hop! We turned the washer on, let the water run for a bit and pushed in the knob to stop the water. IT STOPPED! w00t! All that's left now, is to find a pair of loose jeans so I can be official.
