Raymond M Mundelein , IL February 09, 2016 Appliance: KitchenAid Electric Wall Oven KEBS208DBL8 Heat loss due to old worn door gasket door insulation damaged Replacing the Door Gasket is very easy and will take about 2-3 mins per door. Simply remove the Gasket Retainer (1 screw), and pull off the old Gasket. Install the new gasket by simply pushing the gasket clips into the holes where the old clips came out from. Be sure to start gasket at the first hole either side of the Gasket Retainer and work your way around. Reinstall Gasket retainer. The Door Insulation is a very involved repair, and best to follow specific repair manual instructions. Door removal from oven is required. To remove door you need to order the Door Hinge Pins. Estimate about 15 mins per door plus time to clean all 3 glass panels prior to reassembly. You may find the service manual for your appliance at http://www.allrepairmanuals.com. Dennis S Jeffersonton , VA December 06, 2018 Appliance: Whirlpool Wall Oven RBD306PDQ12 I broke the innermost glass (piece facing oven) I broke the innermost glass (piece facing oven). This occurred after cleaning all 3 of the glass panels inside the door. I apparently got the fiberglass insulation wet, but not evenly wet. After reassembly, I ran the cleaning cycle and that is when it broke. So, I ordered a new replacement glass and new fiberglass insulation. Problem gone.
