Roger F Clinton , IL June 19, 2015 Appliance: Model GH7208XRS-1 WHIRLPOOL MICROWAVE Microwave would not start and interior light stayed on continuously even with door closed I replaced the two door switch interlocks and cam-plates which appeared to be worn. Before ordering the parts, I did a continuity check on the three door switches and determined that they were OK. While I was replacing the interlocks and cam-plates, I discovered that a piece on one of the cam-plates had broken off and was not making proper contact with the door switch when the door was closed.
