Whirlpool WP7711P357-60 Knob- Sele OEM Part

Went through some lengthy internet exchanges with an enormously patient person at Appliance Parts and after a couple of tries, complicated by an oven ID tag that was only partially legible, she was able to find the right dials and sent them promptly. The are installed and exactly what I needed.

I ordered a new setting and thermostat knobs. The new knobs are not quite identical to those they replace, but all functions and numbers are the same and in the same positions on the knobs and the colors are compatible - and the new knobs fit the switch stems perfectly. Next Day Delivery!!! Unbelievably FAST Service!!!

I had a repair man out to fix the thermostat, but he could not find the correct knobs. You guys had them, and in no time they were here, and the oven works great and looks good too!

Replaced Knobs

Shopped around for a knob but there never were dimensions so I just went for the knob that looked closest...well it was just a few mm too big: since the knob was metal I took a large (metal) shears and trimmed the knob to fit...then my Dremel to enlarge the fit...it works...the closest to this knob (under $10.00) was one for $45.00...one needs to be nuts to pay $45.00 for a knob....imn French we call this bricolage, the best way to do repairs, make-do with what is available.
