Description
This timer knob replaces a worn or broken range timer control knob, restoring a positive grip and reliable dial operation so you can set cooking times accurately. Easy-restore part for common knob damage or wear. What it does:
- Provides a replacement control surface for the oven/range timer so the dial turns smoothly
- Re-establishes a secure connection between the user and the timer shaft for accurate time setting
- Commonly used when the knob is cracked, stripped, loose, or will not engage the timer shaft
- Helps eliminate slipping or intermittent timer operation caused by a damaged knob
What's included: One timer control knob (single knob) Install notes:
- Unplug or disconnect power to the appliance before replacing the knob
- Pull the old knob straight off the timer shaft; align and press the new knob firmly onto the splined shaft
- Do not force the knob at an angle; if it does not seat easily, inspect the shaft for debris or damage
- The timer control assembly may also need replacement
