The previous owner had used something to clean the knobs on the stove that removed the imprint. Ordering these was easy, they fit with no problem and are manufacture initial product quality. Very Pleased. The only suggestion I would have is to provide instructions on how to install the oven door gasket. I have not attempted that yet but will soon. John H R Puyallup , WA December 10, 2018 Appliance: Maytag Slide-In Electric Range JES9860BAS19 Burnt out touch pad strip in the control panel After lots of online research to determine what the problem was with my 13 year old Jenn-Air (Whirlpool) downdraft oven/range Appliance Parts Pros was called. Their rep confirmed that a defective touch pad was the issue so I ordered a new control panel. Owing to the age of my oven I also ordered a new oven door gasket and a replacement stove knob. I requested installation instructions which were poorly covered in a Whirlpool repair manual which APP sent me via email. Fortunately, there was a helpful video on YouTube ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wo_NGM28ABQ ) which showed some detail I needed concerning removal of electrical connections from the old panel. That video was really all that I needed to proceed with confidence to repair the oven and at a fraction of a new units cost. Phew! Appliance Parts Pros were great to deal with. Parts arrived even sooner than I originally expected and were exactly as ordered, expected, and required for my stove model. Read More...
