Gary S Keene , VA April 04, 2014 Appliance: Model WHIRLPOOL SELF CLEANING RANGE Range would not go into self clean. I knew the door latch was suppose to lock for self clean and it wasn't, so I took the back off and after tracing out wires and the linkage to the door latch, determined that it was a faulty motor on the latch lock. I got on line and Appliance Parts Pros was the first place that I found the part. I was surprised that it wasn't real expensive, but I kept looking for a cheaper price only to come back to order it from APP. I order it around 9:00 on a Thursday night and it was on my front porch Saturday morning at 9:30. Had it in the stove and self cleaning by 10:00. I was already a register customer of APP , but did not remember until I checked out, but I will not forget the next time. James T Tyngsboro , MA December 27, 2014 Oven door would not unlock after cleaning Pulled out stove from wall, unplugged, remove top section of back metal cover, located latch device upper left corner, manually turned a normally powered motorized latch mechanism,. I was able to at least open the oven door and use the oven for the holidays. Ordered new motorized door latch easily from your website and will change after the holiday.
