Description

This magnetron is the microwave's high-voltage tube that generates the microwaves used to heat food. Replacing a faulty magnetron restores heating performance and stops power-related cooking failures. What it does:

• Converts high-voltage electrical energy into microwave radiation that heats food
• Common symptom: microwave runs but does not heat
• Also be needed if you notice humming, arcing, or a burning electrical smell during operation
• Works with the oven's high-voltage system and waveguide to deliver cooking power
