Steven M Richmond , VA July 17, 2015 Appliance: Model MAYTAG HAV2360AWW Washer stopped mid cycle with a full load It wouldn't pump, spin, etc. DEAD. Knew right away it was the motor. Found this one and ordered and it was an exact fit. This particular washer was very easy to replace. Even though I'm no washing machine technician, I am a contractor and a hands on guy as I've been my whole life so take that into account. I would say that anyone that knows how to use basic tools could do this in 30-45. Took me about 15 due to the fact my main tools are at work site and had to improvise. That being said, I watched the video just to make sure of what I needed to do and it was concise and spot on. Follow it and you should have no problems. Side note on removing the belt: I did not remove it from the transmission pulley first. It's easier to remove from the smaller ones, but easier to put back on with the large one. Hope that helps. P.S. Quick delivery. Would recommend to others. Read More... 36 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers, Socket Set

Jeff S Yorkville , IL July 01, 2016 Appliance: Model MAYTAG #MAV5000AWW Washing machine stopped running and had a "burning" smell coming from within the machine Viewed video on my make and model # of washer to try and figure out how to get the front cover off. Literally that was the most difficult part of the process. I couldn't figure out how to get the front cover off the machine to look at the guts.Once I saw how to get the cover off I could smell the motor and see that it was seized up. This was all happening on Sunday night. When I would turn the machine on I could hear humming coming from the motor and see that it was getting a signal to start but it wouldn't. It also had burning metal smell when I would do this which prompted me stop immediately so I wouldn't damage it further. I viewed the AppliancePartsPro video on changing out the motor and ordered it up as well as a new belt. I gotta say the delivery info they post on their website is accurate and correct which was most deliveries are made in 2 days. I ordered it on Monday morning and I received it Tuesday afternoon. Unbelievable! I watched the video one more time and followed it step by step and changed the motor and belt out in roughly and hour that night ! FANTASTIC. The video was dead on and didn't miss a step from beginning to end and the pricing was extremely competitive. Now we have clean clothes in less than 3 days and all I can say is "happy wife, happy life" end of story.
