Description

This evaporator fan motor spins the internal fan that moves air across the evaporator and throughout the refrigerator. Replace a weak, noisy, or stalled motor to restore proper airflow, consistent temperatures, and quieter operation.

• Circulates air over the evaporator coils and through the vents to cool the compartments
• Helps maintain even, stable temperatures throughout the cabinet
• Common failure symptoms: little or no airflow from vents, warming in the fresh food section, intermittent or loud fan noise, or the fan not running

What's included: 1 evaporator fan motor Install notes:

• Disconnect power before servicing; wear cut-resistant gloves.
• Access the motor behind the interior rear panel near the evaporator; use care around sharp fins and wiring.
• Unplug the wire harness; transfer the existing fan blade and mounting hardware to the new motor as needed. Ensure correct blade orientation and free rotation.
• After reassembly, depress the door switch to verify the fan runs before replacing shelves and contents.
