Laura M Buford , GA September 25, 2015 Appliance: KitchenAid Refrigerator KSRP25FNSS00 Kitchenaid refrigerator not cooling now it is! My KitchenAid refrigerator was not cooling, but the freezer was working perfectly. The help section here listed three parts that could be defective–defrost thermostat, evaporator fan motor and blade, and air diffuser/damper control–so I replaced them all. The videos were EXCELLENT, and despite the difficulty I had squeezing my shoulders into the small freezer compartment, I installed the parts and my refrigerator is cooling perfectly! THANK YOU FOR THE EXCELLENT REPAIR VIDEOS! I am so happy that I was able to repair the refrigerator myself and save a lot of money in the process. Marc A Santa Cruz , CA November 11, 2018 Ice maker quit and frig was warmer then usual I noticed Ice maker Quit for the third time in 15 years so I decided to buy another Ice maker, I installed it and NO ice still?? Well I went after the other problem thinking if it does not get cold enough maybe ice maker won’t work. I ordered Defrost Switch, Heater and Evaporator Fan just to be safe. I replaced all three, the fan was noisy, the heater OHM’d ok but I replaced it as did the defrost switch, I put it back together, the Freezer got to 0 degrees and the frig got to 38 degrees so I figured it will make ice! Well no Ice??? I said all that’s left is the Optics Boards and the inlet valve both of which I replaced in the past. Well I replaced both of those and still NO Ice??? By this time I’m into it for near $700.00 and said there is NOTHING left to replace??? Well I called the store I got the ice maker from and told them can I exchange it? (APED) and they said yes they will exchange it for another new one. I was there and back in NO time, installed the newest ice maker and it Cycled and 35 minutes later I had ice finally. So, sometimes you can get a BAD NEW Part, though rare it happens. I needed the defrost switch, evaporator fan and Ice Maker. I did not need the inlet valves, heater and optics boards. Michael D Windham , NH May 04, 2018 Appliance: KitchenAid Refrigerator KSRP25FNSS00 Freezer cold but refrigerator warm. I could not be happier with my Appliance Parts Pros experience. I googled my symptoms, and the 2nd result was a video from Appliance Parts Pros describing what the problem might be and exactly how to fix it. There was such a close match between my symptoms and the description that I ordered the parts --- with a 365 day return policy, my risk was limited. Almost too good to be true, the parts arrived next business day! I took it slow (about an hour) to install the new evaporator fan motor, blade, and grommet. Installation was trouble free on my 12 year old KitchenAid refrigerator, and the problem is now resolved. I can't think of a way the experience could have been better.
