Oscar R Washington , DC July 14, 2014 Appliance: Model AP4009649 Maytag refrigerator cold freezer and warm fridge First, I did online research to find out what could be the problem with these symptoms of cold freezer and warm fridge. I found multiple posts with people going back and forth as far as what to do to fix it. One tread even provided the link to your store with the part number for the evaporator fan motor. So I did the inspection of the motor as suggested by the expert and sure enough it was the evaporator's motor fan that was not working as it should. That is when I immediately follow the link provided by the expert and ordered the part. It was delivered the next day. I replaced the Evaporator's motor fan and voila it worked, now I am enjoying my cold drinks once again. but the problem itself is Maytag refrigerators. I will never buy a maytag fridge ever again. this small fan and motor is mounted near the coils. This fan and motor - called the evaporator fan and motor, draws air over the evaporator coils and circulates it throughout the freezer and refrigerator. If the fan fails, the freezer or refrigerator will get much warmer than usual. Although the picture on your website was outdated, so it looked different than the one I received. Called in, talked to Jason L.
