Paul B Fresno , CA July 04, 2016 Appliance: Whirlpool Microwave Oven 1.7 Cubic Foot GT4175SPS4 Microwave turntable motor needed to be replaced The microwave was mounted inside a cabinet so I had to take the front surrounding cover off and the mounting brackets.Once I unplugged the power and took the microwave out, the installation of the new motor was easy. I turned the microwave upside down and had to snip some metal pieces on the bottom of the microwave to get the plate off to see the old motor. i slipped the connections off, took out two screws and replaced the motor.
