David M Lafayette , LA June 08, 2020 Appliance: Kenmore Refrigerator 59673509200 Water dispenser would not work, ice maker periodically stopped working. Replaced both primary and secondary water valves to make sure I fixed the problem. Both valves have to open when you function the water dispenser and when the ice maker tray needs refilling. Fred F Frankston , TX September 28, 2014 2 appliances 2 problems: broken door closer on freezer door and water connection union on refrigerator/freezer water line Removed freezer door and laid it on it's side, removed both pieces; one mounted to bottom of door and one mounted to door hinge. Replaced with matching pieces from kit and replaced door. When attempting to remove freezer door of refrigerator/freezer I pulled the water line out incorrectly and damaged the union. After learning how to do it correctly the other side came out easy and without damage. When the appliance was back in place I replaced the doors and pushed the water lines back into each end of the new union. Hooked up the water line at the back and turned on the valve at the hot water heater. Hooray, no leaks!
