Whirlpool WP9751123 Ignitor, Oven OEM Part

I was about to spend about $1k on new stove however I started researching if stove could be fixed. I called a service tech and told would cost about $220 for parts and labor. I figured out where part was located and watched few videos on youtube.com determine labor associated with it. I then decided to remove this part to see how difficult this would be. Took me about 5 minutes to remove part and once it was removed. I ordered part on line. The part cost approximately $59.00 plus shipping and tax total was under $72.00 I received the part 2 days later and replaced it. Stove works wonderfully and saved myself 1k

Replaced the igniter element and it worked. Despite the old igniter was still glowing red hot upon power up and the resistance test also showed that there is still a continuity between the igniter element. Thanks to your online technical support for helping me diagnosed the issue.

Replaced igniters

I replaced the Ignitor. The only problem I ran into was I could not loosen one of the self-tapping screws holding the igniter to the stove. I cut the top of that screw off and removed the body with no problem. Finding a replacement screw took a little longer than I anticipated but I eventually found one and finished the installation of the new igniter.
