Richard J Plantation , FL July 17, 2014 Maytag microwave stopped working "se" code indicated control panel failure When the Control Panel failed on my 4 year old over the range Maytag Microwave, I went to APPLIANCEPARTSPROS.COM, checked out the diagrams and directions on how to replace the Control Panel and ordered the part. The Control Panel arrived on schedule, and it was fairly easy to replace the failed unit. A couple of the directions were not quite accurate or complete, but I was able to figure it out and successfully installed the new Control Panel. In the past, I have ordered parts for several of my kitchen and laundry appliances through APPLIANCEPARTS.COM and have saved a lot of $$$$ by doing the repairs myself. Sarah G Claremont , NH November 07, 2014 Se error code We had thus microwave for 4.5 years before we got the dreaded SE error. We tried cleaning out all the connection points first. It would work for maybe 10-20 minutes then start beeping and displaying the SE code again. After researching and trying different ways to fix it, I finally gave in and ordered this part. It came very quickly. I ordered on a Sunday and it was here by Tuesday afternoon, and that's with standard shipping of $6.95. Because we were already very familiar of what the inside of you kepbad looked like from previously cleaning it the installation of this new piece was very simple. It took a total of 10 minutes for take off the old pice and put on the new one. It's working perfect. Fingers crossed this last and we do not see the SE code ever again. James L Kerrville , TX June 20, 2014 The error code "se" suddenly displayed on the front control panel of my maytag microwave and it would not function at all I "Googled" the code and found on your website that "SE" meant the panel control was defective and I also found that you stocked the necessary replacement part which I ordered online. The new part arrived promptly as advertised and, not being mechanically or "techie" inclined; I hesitated to try to install the control panel myself but decided to "give it a shot". I called your customer service folks and was given a brief lesson on how to install the new part. Unfortunately, the instructions did not include the removal of 3 screws which held the plastic panel to a metal retainer. I struggled awhile but once I noticed the partially hidden screws, I was able to replace the control panel with no further problems. Overall, my experience with your company was excellent!
