Description
This control panel is the oven/range user interface that lets you set cooking modes, temperature and timers while showing status information. Replacing a faulty panel restores reliable button response and clear display feedback. What it does:
- Provides touchpad/buttons and display for selecting oven/range functions and settings
- Sends user commands to the range control so cooking cycles start and stop as selected
- Failure symptoms include unresponsive buttons, blank or garbled display, or range not accepting settings
- May clear intermittent control errors and restore normal control operation when defective
