Description

This PC switch senses the washer lid position and tells the control when the lid is open or closed so the washer operates safely. It replaces a worn or failed lid position sensor to restore normal cycle starts and door-safety behavior. What it does:

• Detects lid open/closed status and signals the control board
• Prevents washer from starting or spinning when lid is open
• Can correct symptoms like no-start, no-spin, or interrupted cycles when the lid is closed
• Works as the user-accessible lid position safety switch used by the control
