Whirlpool WP2196195 Refrigerator Dispenser Door Pin Kit OEM Part

It was not looking good. I could not order the part I needed as it was part of the door - eve though it had screws att Hong it to the freezer door. At one web site it was a replacement of the whole freezer door!/? Luckily I ventured further and found this repair kit and video instructions. My order arrived in 3 days, and the install (thanks to the video) was easy. A whole lot better than buying a new freezer door - not! BTW - Whitlpool should not have made the tabs out of plastic, the metal bracket the repair kit uses will never break.

Ordered the parts and a couple I wasn't sure I needed. These fixed the problem and the ice maker is working great.

Took front push button panel off and found hinge pin eyelet broken in the molded part of freezer door. Ordered repair kit and it was delivered lightening fast I had asked for regular shipping but it came next day. Installed parts per video instructions found on their website and it was a breeze. It solved the problem and is working flawlessly. I can't be happier with the parts and this awesome company.
