How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6006159 / WP2196195 Dispenser Door Pin Kit

Ordered the parts and a couple I wasn't sure I needed. These fixed the problem and the ice maker is working great.

Repaired by adding broken tab ice door kit 

Bought the Broken Tab Ice Door Kit. Watched the video before installing the kit. Easy fix. 

I ordered a new Broken Tab Ice Door Kit from AppliancePartsPros. Shipping was fast. Followed their very clear and helpful repair video to remove the old kit and install the new one. Take care in the placement of the new kit. Ice now dispenses perfectly as it should! Thanks Matt! 

Looked up the problem and found a video from appliance parts pros and ordered the parts and simply followed the steps. Had to do some minor trimming of the metal plate to make it fit better in my model but it worked great. 

Replaced door assembly with repair kit + pin kit. 

Installed a broken tab ice door kit.
