Description

This tub ring mounts at the top of the outer tub to contain splashes and suds during agitation and spin, helping prevent over-the-rim leaks. Replace a cracked or broken ring to restore proper water containment and fit.

• Acts as the upper splash shield for the outer tub
• Helps keep wash water and suds from escaping during operation
• Secures with locking tabs for a tight, even fit around the tub opening
• Typical signs of failure: cracks, broken/missing tabs, water or suds at the top of the tub

• Disconnect power and water; wear gloves and eye protection
• Lift or remove the top/console to access the tub opening
• Release retaining clips/tabs, remove the old ring, and clean the tub rim
• Align and snap the new ring evenly into place; confirm all tabs are fully seated before reassembly
