Description
A roll pin (spring pin) that secures rotating or sliding components by fitting into matched holes to hold shafts, levers, or brackets in place. Replaces a worn or damaged pin to restore proper mechanical engagement. What it does:
- Holds shafts, levers or hinges in position by expanding into drilled holes for a snug, vibration-resistant fit
- Keeps pulleys, rollers, or linkages from moving out of alignment or sliding off their shafts
- Common symptom: loose or wobbling pulley, lever, or shaft where the retaining pin is worn or broken
- Common symptom: noisy or intermittent operation caused by a pin that no longer secures moving parts
