Garnet C Waynesboro , PA April 06, 2020 Appliance: Maytag Washer MVWB835DW1 The washer lid cracked. I ordered a new replacement lid from AppliancePartsPros.com. Ordered it at 2 pm and had it by 10 am the next morning. It was exactly like the original lid. Took me all the way of 10 minutes to replace it. I'm sure I saved at least $400.00 by doing this myself thanks to AppliancePartsPros.com. There were only 4 screws holding the lid onto the washer base. The appliance dealer where I bought it wanted $95.00 just to come look at it. I'm glad I decided to research it on my own. Daniel L Valley City , OH December 21, 2017 Lid was broken due to seized hinges. Be sure to buy all the parts for both sides. I replaced the lid and the left side hardware earlier this year and 6 months later the other side seized, cracking my new lid. This time I replaced all the hardware on both sides.
