Description
Angular magnetic sensor that detects when a door or panel is closed and tells the appliance control. Replacing a worn or failed sensor restores reliable door-sensing so cycles, lights, and safety features respond correctly. What it does:
- Detects the magnet/strike position and signals the control board that the door or panel is closed.
- Allows the control to enable or disable functions tied to door position (cycles, interior lights, locks).
- Common symptoms it can fix: appliance won't start, door-related error codes, interior light not responding, or door lock not engaging.
- Intermittent or failed sensors can cause erratic operation or prevent normal cycle starts.
What's included: One magnetic sensor. Install notes:
