David P Hoover , AL June 22, 2019 Appliance: KitchenAid 48" Built In Refrigerator KSSC48QVS02 Water pad on refrigerator worked only when you pushed very hard on one 1/4" x 1/2" spot Removed water catcher, then 4 screws in water/ice vault in door, then removed screws on door side (5) top (2) and bottom (2). Removed stainless door skin. Removed 4 hex head bolts in ice/water vault (containing pads) and 4 bolts on the module immediately above the vault. Pulled the vault and module above out part way to unplug one cable. Then laid on table to unplug pads. From back, each pad has a small indent preventing the pad from being pushed up and removed. Push the small indent with a small screwdriver, then push the pad up until released. Same with other pad. Install new pads by inserting in holes and pushing down.
