James H Winterville , NC June 07, 2021 Appliance: KitchenAid Mixer KSM150 Dough tool was stuck on the shaft because of hardened dough Bought a new shaft and replaced the original shaft. I tried soaking the original shaft with the dough tool stuck on in boiling water and vinegar, but no luck. Dough was like cement. Joseph H St. Cloud , MN December 19, 2021 Motor would not run at any speed setting Replaced Speed control plate. The contact points were pitted and burnt and not making good contact. I also replaced the agitator shaft, as it was slightly worn, and thought I would get the spring along with it as it was shown in the part image, but did not come with it.
