After removing the bottom basket, you remove the entire drawer including the door together with it, by using a screwdriver to depress the white clip on each drawer slide which releases the slide from body of the freezer. Once you pull our the entire drawer, you will need to drill out a rivet to remove the old slide. You will need a rivet gun to attach the new slide. Parts were in my opinion overly expensive. For the slides to be $125, it is difficult to fix my freezer in that it is old. I replaced only one side but certainly would have replaced both if they are less costly. The plastic retractor was broken on one side only. New slide is very strong and it did the job.
