Description

This is a small plastic cam located inside the agitator assembly of a top-load washing machine. It works with the agitator dogs to allow the upper portion of the agitator to ratchet in one direction during the wash cycle, providing the back-and-forth motion that cleans clothes. Replace this part if the agitator spins freely in both directions, makes clicking noises without engaging, or fails to agitate clothes properly.
