Funny, my husband did it. We have a service contract but you know how long that still takes. So he found the part at the bottom of the dishwasher and it had a number on it. I simply removed the washer arm - removed the old cap from the top of the arm and snapped the new cap into the new arm spray- The whole repair took less than 5 minutes from the time I opened the dishwasher until I closed it.

I replaced the upper spray arm and retainer at the top of the dishwasher.

Replaced spray arms and tube. Found all had debris in them and prohibited water pressure from reaching items. After replacement everything comes out sparkling. Don't understand how the spray arms getting plugged. Almost like waste water is recycled.
