Description

This is the idler tension spring that holds the dryer belt tight for smooth drum rotation and reliable drying. It restores proper belt tension to help eliminate slipping and uneven drum movement. What it does:

• Applies tension to the dryer idler assembly so the belt stays engaged with the drum and motor pulley
• Helps stop belt slippage that can cause the drum to not turn or to turn intermittently
• Reduces squealing or rubbing noises caused by a loose or worn tension spring
• Works with the idler pulley and belt to maintain consistent drum rotation during operation
