Watched a video on how to replace the switch. Took ten minutes total time. Hardest part was removing the wiring from the broken switch. Fit perfectly, and very happy .

The best part about this fix was the next day delivery of the ordered part. Only one screw needed to be removed after the machine was moved about 3 inches away from the built-in cabinets.

Even though I thought the problem might be the touch panel or circuit board, I ordered the Dishwasher Door Latch Assembly as I'd read that could be the problem. I figured it would cost less than the other option and was worth a try. Plus customer service told me I could return what I purchased if it didn't work and wasn't damaged. So it was a win/win. Didn't want to buy a new dishwasher as it still runs great but also didn't want to spend a couple hundred dollars for a new circuit board and/or new panel on an 11 year old dishwasher.
