Even though I thought the problem might be the touch panel or circuit board, I ordered the Dishwasher Door Latch Assembly as I'd read that could be the problem. I figured it would cost less than the other option and was worth a try. Plus customer service told me I could return what I purchased if it didn't work and wasn't damaged. So it was a win/win. I watched the excellent 'How To' videos on the AppliancePartsPros website which were very easy to understand. The repair, in fact, was super easy!! I truly didn't think the latch assembly would solve the issue but to my surprise, it did! I'm doing the 'happy dance' now! So pleased with APP's customer service, the video, and the quick shipping!! Can't thank you enough. You saved me lots of money! Didn't want to buy a new dishwasher as it still runs great but also didn't want to spend a couple hundred dollars for a new circuit board and/or new panel on an 11 year old dishwasher.
