Edward D Hoover , AL May 30, 2025 Appliance: Model MAYTAG CABRIO WTW8800YC1 WASHER "ul" error code Replaced the stator and suspension rods and the issue is resolved. Stator was very easy installation if you review the Installation Video. Thank you APP for these valuable videos. The four stator bolts are tightened to about 10 ft-lb if you are using a torque wrench. As shown in the video, do not skip using the blue Loctite for the bolt that holds the rotor to the shaft. Tighten the rotor bolt to about 16 ft-lb if you are using a torque wrench. For the suspension rods, using a helper will make installation much easier. Replacing the springs one at a time, I held up each new spring while my Wife attach the top spring retainer. Read More... Timothy F Plymouth , WI July 09, 2023 Appliance: Model WTW8200YWO Washer kept stopping with unbalanced load. The agitator seemed tight, but I had no leaks, checked the stator and it was clean with no cracks, replaced the main shaft, seal, and bearings, and found the top bearing bad. Also replaced the basket hub because the washer under the drive gear was bent after removal, I found one of the suspension rods bent and installed the rod kit. Everything went together smoothly and the washer is running smooth and quiet as new. Tim Read More...
