Description

The Suspension Rods are an OEM component specifically designed for Whirlpool washing machines. They work with springs and mounts to isolate washers from damaging vibrations.

Causes of bad rods can include fatigue and cracking from years of absorption, breaks due to impact damage, or loosening of mounting brackets. 

Symptoms include:

• Excessive shaking or bouncing even on gentle cycles   
• Loud clanking and knocking noises while spinning  
• Floor damage from pounding or walking of the washer
• Stress on transmission parts from uncontrolled movements
