Description

This switch actuator assembly transfers motion to a microswitch so the appliance can sense a required condition and operate safely. If the actuator wears or breaks, the switch may not engage, causing no-start or intermittent operation. What it does:

• Presses the corresponding microswitch at the correct point in the mechanism's travel
• Signals the control that a required condition is met
• Helps prevent operation when the mechanism isn't in the correct position
• Common symptoms of a failed actuator: won't start, starts and stops intermittently, or requires pressure on a handle/lever to run

Install notes:
