This happened for about a week and then it stopped dispensing altogether. The ice maker was working, but when I put my ear above the dispenser, I heard no humming when depressed. Searched for a solution and watched some youtube videos and decided to try this part. Worked like a charm. Install was sloppy because I was trying to remove and replace from the back of the cover. In fact, peeling th adhesive off the front was the only way. It looks really bad since the original decal is crumbling but my water works!
