Description

This dual infinite switch controls power to a dual surface element on electric ranges and cooktops, allowing precise heat selection. Replacing a failing switch restores responsive temperature control and ensures both inner and outer sections of the element operate correctly.

• Regulates power cycling to the surface element to reach and maintain the selected heat
• Controls single- or dual-section operation on models equipped with a dual element

• Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing
• Remove the control knob and open the control panel to access the switch
• Transfer wires one at a time from the old switch to matching terminals on the new switch; take a photo to guide reassembly
• Secure the switch, reassemble the panel/knob, restore power, and test the burner
